The seminar will focus on the different musical idioms of Crete, on techniques, rhythm and exercises based on the percussion found in the musical tradition of the south-eastern Aegean. The purpose of the seminar is to approach both the accompanying role of the percussionists, as well as their essential presence alongside other solo instruments, as has been recorded in the wider Greek area. Western notation and spoken rhythmic systems will be used in the seminar.

At the same time, he specialized in the technique of Iranian and Greek musical tradition through a number of seminars at the "Labyrinth" Music Workshop with teachers Pedram Khavarzamini, Zohar Fresco, Vangelis Karipis and Yiannis Papatzanis. In the last decade, he has been studying the Greek folk music tradition and the traditional percussion instruments found in the Greek and Eurasian area (tobak, bendir, stamna, daulaki, tubeleki).

He has collaborated with many important artists such as Giorgis Xylouris (Psarogiorgis), Ross Daly, Yiannis Angelakas, Maria Koti and Stelios Petrakis. He is a member of the musical group "Aginares" together with Haris Panagiotakis and Giorgos Psarakis. He is a member and co-creator of the musical duo "Thines" together with Michalis Kontaxakis. He participates in the traditional orchestra of music composer Kyriakos Eleftheriadis. In addition, through his collaboration with Nikos and Antonis Xylouris and other musical groups, he incorporates into the folk music of Crete the traditional percussion instruments of the island as well as percussion instruments from other musical traditions.

In the context of the program "The art of rhythm in education" implemented by the Department of Philology of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Theater-Music-Film laboratory, in collaboration with the Psychology and Special Education laboratory of the Pedagogical Department of the University of Crete, he works as a lecturer in teaching of the art of percussion and the use of rhythm as a tool in the educational process.
